my heart is like an open highway

May 4, my birthday. I was not expecting anything from anyone cause I don’t really like surprises that much. But honestly, I really appreciated their effort in doing so and it really made my day. And although my Mom couldn’t go here cause she was too tired arranging stuff for tomorrow, these guys made my day really good. :)

around midnight last night as the clock struck 12 Jesmon, Paul, Patrick, Wini, Mara and Stanley surprised me with a “funny” sunflower and a green candle on a mamon. It was super funny, but i really do appreciate the effort. And thank you.

Then around this afternoon, i was really caught unprepared as i was going out the wash room with a towel wrapped around me, my friends Axl, Pearl and Charm surprised me with a birthday cake and three cute heart shaped polvorons with rose on top. It was really a SUPER SURPRISE moment. 

ohhhh, btw my super funny friend Xma wants a photo with the birthday girl here. :)) And yes, I wore red shoes because it is my birthday because I don’t have any red colored top so i opted for polka dots instead. :))

Today was different than the usual birthdays I’ve had. it was not the complete super happy kind, but it was a good one, a really good one.:) And thank you to all that greeted me in their own ways. 

And of course, thank you God for giving me another year to live. And making me happy today. Thank you. :)
